De Rigo Australia Announces Leadership Transition
This month, De Rigo Australia bids a fond farewell to Chris Hanley, National Sales Manager, after an incredible 31 years with the business. Chris joined Optyl in 1992 and has remained a valued part of the organisation through its many milestones and transitions, including the mergers with L’Amy and De Rigo.
Chris will be greatly missed by everyone at De Rigo Australia, but we’re delighted to see him embark on an exciting new chapter with Rodenstock as Relationship Manager. Bringing with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, Chris will undoubtedly be a fantastic asset to the Rodenstock team. We also look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership with Rodenstock in the years ahead.
Stepping into the role of Head of Sales is Matt Young, who celebrates an impressive 30 years with De Rigo. Based in Queensland, Matt is a familiar face to many across the industry, having begun his optical career in New South Wales before relocating north. His deep understanding of the business, customers, and market makes him ideally placed to lead the sales team into its next chapter.
The transition is expected to be seamless, with Chris and Matt having worked closely together for many years and sharing a long history of collaboration and commitment to De Rigo’s success.
We congratulate Matt on his well-deserved appointment and wish both Matt and Chris every success in their new roles. We thank Chris for his outstanding contribution over the past three decades and look forward to seeing both continue to make a positive impact on the Australian optical industry.
